Way to go Melissa! Love the blog. Dave, Bronte & I can't wait to read more about your German adventure (admittedly, Bronte has only a passing interest since your adventures so far haven't included any dogs and they don't smell like bacon). Keep those photos coming so we can all vicariously learn about and recognize family and friends in Germany. Erika and Konrad look great. Just like I remember them even though it's been years since I last saw them. Please wish them an extra special happy 50th from me. I was fortunate enough to have attended the 50th golden wedding celebration for Erika's father (does that date me?) so I understand the whole flower arch at the house, PJs at the party routine. You seemed very excited about the mayor stopping by. Did he have a young handsome son in the basket or are you still holding out for a duke?
